These are squares from a project I'm working on for my friend Linda. Last fall she knit me a gorgeous royal blue cable sweater so I'm making her a "zen" book featuring things we've written to each other about as being things we love or things that are calming. That's something important in both of our lives as we tend to get a bit jeezled from time to time.
To start out with, there's a "zen fish"....
a "zen iris".....
and a pair of "zen coffee mugs"....
I'll have a few more to post in a day or so. I'm eventually going to put all these together into a cloth accordian-fold book so that she may display it on a coffee table just as easily as a wall.

I like the zen fish--great purple stripes in the background. And the bottom coffee cup is adorable, the light print with the little orange handle.
