Fall Color in Virginia

OK, trying again to see if posting the photos works.  Apparently it did work before but I can't see anything when I'm using Firefox which seems a bit silly.

So again with the photos from Monument Ave plus a couple I took down at the rivah.

Yorktown Onions

Finally managed to get down to Yorktown when the onions were in bloom.  Legend has it the onion seeds spilled off the wagon as they were transported from ships docked in Yorktown to the market in Williamsburg.  This particular onion is a old European variety and this is the only place it now grows.  I think the color combo with the grass, the sky and the York river is heavenly.
